Our transportation staff is dedicated to providing the best quality services to our students.
Our Transportation Supervisor will…
Work in a collaborative environment and foster positive relationships with staff, parents, and children.
Manage transportation staff including bus drivers and bus monitors.
Train, assign, direct, supervise, and evaluate the transportation team members.
Coordinate and develops bus routes and schedules.
Maintain compliance with the Head Start Performance Standards, Department of Transportation, and Virginia Licensing.
Stay dedicated to our mission in order to build an educational foundation for each child to grow cognitively, emotionally, and physically each day.
We are most interested in applicants who…
Have 1-3 years of experience working in a transportation setting.
Have knowledge of and level of competence associated with specialized training in transportation or related field.
Have familiarity of Head Start, Virginia Licensing, and Department of Transportation regulations.
Have CPR/First Aid training and/or MAT training.
Flexibility with work hours and scheduling
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Qualifications:
Associates Degree in a related field
1-3 years of experience in an early childhood setting is preferred.
Valid Driver’s License
