Medication Aide

Responsibilities: - Administer medications to patients according to prescribed orders and protocols - Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or side effects from medications - Assist with the management and organization of medication supplies and inventory - Document medication administration and patient responses accurately and timely - Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care - Provide assistance with activities of daily living as needed Requirements: - Medical office experience preferred - Phlebotomy skills are a plus - Knowledge of anatomy and physiology - Familiarity with hospice care practices - Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems, such as Epic - Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs - Experience with tube feeding administration - Previous experience in assisted living or long-term care settings is desirable - Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient care As a Medication Aide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to our patients.
