ECU Health North Hospital is a Joint Commission-accredited, 204-bed acute bed facility serving Halifax, Northampton and Warren counties in the north-central region of North Carolina.
Its service area also reaches into southern Virginia.
With more than 600 team members, the hospital offers a broad range of medical and surgical services.
It features a 24-hour emergency department and offers advanced diagnostics as well as specialty and primary care.
Position Summary
The Nursing Assistant performs specific responsibilities under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse.
Functions within the framework of the NAI listing granted by the NC Department of Health and Human Services.
Practices within the philosophy and goals of patient care services.
Minimum Requirements
High School or GED is preferred - or higher.
NAI listing with NC Department of Health and Human Services is required.
Experience in a comparable facility can only be substituted for NA I course by successful completion of challenge exam acceptable to the N.
C.
Department of Health and Human Services is required.
Current American Heart Association HeartSaver certification is required.

Department: ECU Health North Medical Step Down Unit.
Shift: 7P.
Weekends: Rotating.
On-Call: Yes.
