ECU Health North Hospital is a Joint Commission-accredited, 204-bed acute bed facility serving Halifax, Northampton and Warren counties in the north-central region of North Carolina.
Its service area also reaches into southern Virginia.
With more than 600 team members, the hospital offers a broad range of medical and surgical services.
It features a 24-hour emergency department and offers advanced diagnostics as well as specialty and primary care.
Position Summary
Pharmacy Technicians are a foundation of the pharmacy department and drive many of the workflow activities.
The expectations are to support the mission, vision, and core values of ECU Health and the pharmacy department by engaging directly with patients, multidisciplinary teams, and payers.
Minimum Requirements
High School or Equivalent (GED) or higher
3 years of related experience
Certification through National Pharmacy Technician Association - CPhT
Must be registered with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire
Must maintain and complete additional job specific competencies
Other Information
Department: ECU Health North Pharmacy.
Shift: Typically 7am-7pm, 36hours a week.
May work 12am-12pm occasially and on holidays.
On-Call: No.
Weekends: Yes.
