ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital is a 114-bed community hospital located in Ahoskie.
Serving four nearby counties, the 15-bed emergency department sees approximately 18,000 patients per year.
ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital provides a wide range of health services, including medical, surgical and radiation oncology.
In addition, the Wound Healing and Pain Management clinics serve as referral centers for neighboring ECU Health hospitals and providers.
Ahoskie, NC is ideally located an hour from the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area and two hours from Raleigh, Richmond, Williamsburg, and the beautiful Outer Banks of NC.

Position Summary
The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) provide direct patient care by offering appropriate treatments according to age and condition.
As a PTA, you will actively seek to improve knowledge and skills of self and others, provide appropriate leadership, and meet clinical productivity standards and competency requirements.
Will also be involved in team dynamics and participate in interdisciplinary activities when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements
Graduation with Associate Degree as Physical Therapist Assistant from an APTA accredited school or higher
Current licensure or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant by The North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiner
3 years or less of licensure
Preferred:
Prior Physical Therapist Assistant experience in hospital

This is a PRN, As Needed postion
Monday - Friday (8 am - 5 pm)
